When does the course start and what is the commitment? The learner requirements for this Skills Bootcamp programme are a minimum of five GCSE grades C – A* (4-9) or equivalent, including English and Maths, or Level 3 qualification (A level, BTEC or equivalent). We will also consider learners with relevant skills, interests, work-related experience and those learners who have had a sustained period out of education or whose studies have been significantly disrupted who can demonstrate high motivation and commitment (evidence of motivation, knowledge and commitment in your personal statement). We welcome applicants from unrepresented communities in the Science and Technology sector such as females and the BAME communities. in-house training for an existing SME (SME to pay 30% of the costs).upskilling for workers in existing jobs (free of charge).To be eligible for this course, you must be over 19 and in one of the following categories: Add data analytics skills to your resume today by attending the Caltech Data Analytics Bootcamp, an immersive, remote, part-time program powered by Fullstack Academy. This course is designed for people with very little, or no prior knowledge of programming, artificial intelligence and machine learning. Graduates of the Caltech Data Analytics Bootcamp will qualify for full-time data analyst positions that could earn them a competitive starting salary in the Los Angeles metro area. Four half-day online residentials, built in within the 14-week period, deliver sessions on confidence building, employability skills as well as hosting employers panels and industry guest speakers. While the first term subjects introduce you to the fundamentals of data science and programming, the learning in the subsequent terms take you to intermediate and advance levels of applied data analytics and cloud computing. This 14-week course is divided into three terms and delivers an industry informed curriculum. This course will also provide you with general problem-solving skills, confidence building and other personal development opportunities. You will explore different programming languages and tools in the context of delivering data driven solutions.
On this course, you will gain knowledge of underpinning concepts of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Data Analytics as well as practical skills for generating, analysing, visualising and interpreting data using various data repositories and other cloud-based technology. This course is designed to equip you with digital skills for data analytics and cloud computing (developing knowledge of data analytics, data mining, data migration, data capture, AI, machine learning, data modelling etc) as well as providing you with the pathway to employability and new job opportunities through personal development and mentoring.
